No Credit Car Loans in Edmonton, Alberta – Hey there. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Cliff G., and I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I was wondering what you thought about me applying for a new car while having literally no credit? You see, I am only 21 years old and have lived with my parents my whole life. Within the past year I have been living on my own and have a great job in the metal works industry. Since moving from my folks I have been using public transportation, but if you have ever lived in Edmonton, you know how troublesome this can be when traveling great distances. Not that I’m dissing the great ETS, but it just doesn’t take me to many of the places my work calls me to. So I need a car! I’m worried that because I don’t have any credit I may be screwed. What do you think and thanks?
Hi Cliff and thanks for dropping by Get A Loan Canada. Welcome to the real world! As you can see, the comfort and relative safety of living at home proves to be a slap in the face when on your own as an adult. Fortunately, this is how we all learn to cope and deal with life’s issues so you are not alone. The good thing is, that even though you have no credit, at least you don’t have bad credit. What GALC can tell you is that when you apply for a car loan, you will need to provide as much information you can to positively influence the decision in your favor. So you will need the following: proof of employment, proof of residence along with any utility bills you can show with your name and address on them, proof of employment via photo-copies of your recent pay slips, a valid drivers license, various personal documentation like birth certificate and SIN, and of course, the car loan application filled out honestly. With these forms and documents, you have as much chance as possible to successfully apply for a car loan. This is not to say that this will be a slam dunk for you, and there may be other information you will need to provide if so asked by the direct lender. Even with great credit, getting a car loan can be a tricky circumstance so no need to worry about what may be. Good luck to you.
GALC
